Former Shine TV managing director Karen Smith is poised to return to TV after establishing a new entertainment production company.

Karen Smith, the launch executive producer of Strictly Come Dancing, has set up an indie under the name Tuesday’s Child – a reference to the nursery rhyme Monday’s Child.
